The Young Air Pilots group (YAP) is the home for the next generation of aviators within the Honourable Company of Air Pilots. Specifically designed for members under the age of 35, it is not a separate entity, rather a subset of the company membership which caters to under 35’s. Membership privileges remain unchanged, and those under 35 can of course attend all Company events.

Our group bridges the gap between aspiring students and seasoned professionals across all sectors of the industry. Whether you fly recreationally, are a student pilot, a newly qualified first officer, experienced captain, or operate within the military, YAP is dedicated to supporting all aviators under the age of 35, growing your network, and your professional growth.

Beyond career development, we foster a close-knit community through an extensive calendar of events and socials, ranging from casual meetups to exclusive technical visits, interview preparation days, or even the Company’s flagship Trophies & Awards Dinner.
