Air Pilots' Scholarship Programme 2017

Scholarships are available as follows:

Several Fixed Wing Insturctor scholarships sponsored by the Swire Charitable Trust, the Air Safety Trust and the Air Pilots Trust.

Closing date for Applications 22 March 2017

Several full scholarships are available to take the successful candidates through to licence issue.  These scholarships are generously funded by benefactors such as Air BP, the Cadogan Charitable Trust, the Foyle Charitable Trust along with funding from members of the Company, such as Past Master Mike Grayburn, and the Company's charitable foundations: the Air Pilots Benevolent Fund and the Air Pilots Trust.
The successful candidates must be over the age of 17 on 1 June 17

Closing date for Applications 14 March 2017

Several residential course scholarships will be available with funding provided through several sources such as Virgin Atlantic, the Air Pilots Flying Club and through the generosity of several Company members.
The training will be carried out at a (BGA) approved centre and will consist of week long courses to be flown during the school summer holidays

The successful candidates must be over the age of 16 on 1 July 2017

1.  The Honourable Company of Air Pilots

The Air Pilots was established as the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators in 1929. It is based in London but has an internationally based membership of professional and private pilots. The principal activities of the organisation are centred on developing action and activities to ensure that aircraft are piloted and navigated safely by aviators who are highly competent, self-reliant, dependable and respected.
